The 27-year old South Korean actor Kim Woo-bin is set for his Asian fan tour in October. The tour is titled "2016 Kim Woo-bin Fan Meeting Spotlight".
The tour will mark Kim's third and official fan meeting tour, and will help the actor show off his talent in both acting and singing, MSN Entertainment reported. The tour is scheduled to begin on Oct. 3.
An official at Kim's management, sidusHQ, said "We decided to do this Asian tour thanks to the large fan support that Kim is receiving. When the tour kicks off at Seoul Olympic Stadium, fans can look forward to never-before-seen performances from Kim, as well as seeing a side of him rarely shown to the public. He is personally preparing the program for the fan meeting, and is pouring his heart and soul into preparations. We hope fans will look forward to this as much as possible," Korea Jongang Daily reported.
Kim began his career as a runway model and made his acting debut playing supporting roles in Korean dramas. In 2013, he came to prominence as one of the main cast in the highly popular Korean drama "The Heirs", a South Korean television series starring Lee Min-ho, Park Shin-hye and Kim is set in a high school populated by the privileged and elite. Kim plays as Choi Young-do, the heir to the Zeus Hotel Group.
As of recently, Kim is currently starring in KBS2 drama "Uncontrollably Fond" together with Bae Suzy. In the drama, Kim and Bae were a couple who were separated during their teenage years due to an ill-fated relationship but later in life, meet each other as Kim is now a top singer while Bae is a documentary producer. The show airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 21:55 on KBS.
