It appears that South Korean singer and actress Lizzy of the girl group After School is having trouble with her talent management agency Pledis Entertainment. In a press conference for her upcoming TV drama series “Please Take Care of My Vanity 2” on September 5, the star shared her concerns with the agency as her contract ends.

“I thought my source of income had dried up. Now that the end of my contract is nearing, [the company] isn’t giving me any work,” Soompi quoted Lizzy as saying.

She added: “I want our CEO to watch the show. I hope he sees “Please Look After My Vanity 2” and comes to his senses.”

Pledis Entertainment has not yet released their statement regarding Lizzy’s public announcement.

Born as Park Soo Young, 24-year-old singer started her career as a back-up dancer of KPop star Son Dam Bi in 2009. A year after, she became a member of the girl group After School, which is currently made up of six members including Uee, Raina, Nana, E Young, Kaeun, and Lizzy.

Along with her group mates Raina and Nana, Lizzy formed a sub-unit for After School called Orange Caramel. They released their first mini-album featuring the lead single "Magic Girl" in 2010.

Aside from her singing career, Lizzy also involved herself in the acting scene. Films like “White: The Melody of the Curse” and “Love Forecast” and TV drama series “All My Love” and “Angry Mom” are among her projects.

Meanwhile, her latest show “Please Look After My Vanity 2” is set to premiere on September 8 at 9 p.m. on FashionN. Joining her in the series are actors Leeteuk and Han Chae Young, All Kpop reported.
