In the new "NCIS: LA" Season 8 there will be some twist in the storyline. Fans will see Kensi and Deeks get engaged after their relationship is revealed in Season 7. On the other hand, as suspected mole was discovered inside the NCIS office, Hetty and Granger may lose their job. Callen's father is also expected to make appearance on the show once again.
Showrunner Scott Gemmill revealed to TV Guide that Kensi and Deeks will have their engagement this season. Meanwhile a mole is suspected to be inside the LA office of NCIS, and Hetty and Granger find their jobs on the line. Callen's father who was spoken frequently in Season 7 is expected to make another appearance in this season.
Junior NCIS field agent Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and an LAPD liason officer Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) decided to make their relationship official in Season 6. Kensi decided to move in with Deeks and in Season 7. But there are other priorities they must take care before the couple have their wedding, so they have to put the wedding plan on hold.
A mole is also discovered in the NCIS office of Los Angeles. This will make things uncomfortable for special agent and operation manager Hetty (Linda Hunt), as well as NCIS assistant director Owen Granger (Miguel Ferrer). They both willl find their jobs to be on the line, as they are responsible for entire NCIS operation in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile familiar faces such as Callen's father will pop up in "NCIS: LA" season 8. While another love story will get the focus, as Eric Beale (Barrett Foa) and Nell Jones (Renée Felice Smith) are "dipping their toes in the water of a relationship," according to Gemmil.
'NCIS: Los Angeles' is a spin-off of the CBS popular series "NCIS." The original series will have its Season 13 to premiere on Sept. 20, according to Vine Report. While "NCIS: LA" Season 8 is slated to air next month.
Season 7 of "NCIS: Los Angeles" ended on May 25 with a cliffhanger. The leader of Reynosa drug Cartel, Paloma Reynosa is pictured to take a trip to Pennsylvania, she then entered the store owned by Jackson Gibbs, Leroy's father. She planned to take revenge against Leroy's for murdering her father Pedro Hernandez.
"NCIS: LA" Season 8 is schedule to premiere on Sunday, Oct. 2 on CBS.
