Rumors and speculations continue to circulate regarding "One Punch Man" Season 2, ranging from the release date to the plot to the enemies the protagonists are likely to face. Thus far, there is no official announcement or confirmation of a second season, although some have predicted that it's going to happen soon.

According to Yibada, Saitama aka Caped Baldy might lose his superhero abilities, including his power to take down enemies with a single punch. If and when this happens, his trusty cyborg disciple Genos is said to take his place.

The report also says that a new formidable enemy is likely to be introduced. This is rather obvious since any superhero story would be dull unless there are powerful supervillains to defeat. Who this enemy will be and what powers they will have remains a mystery, though.

There are previous rumors that Boros will be back more dangerous and menacing than before. His defeat to Saitama in Season 1 won't be the last, speculations say.

Moreover, Saitama is said to face Amai Mask, who will come out victorious. The A-Class hero has shown a lot of interest in the now-B-Class protagonist. Also, in the last episode of Season 1, the well-dressed celebrity got on people's nerves when he blamed the S-Class heroes for the city's destruction, which almost resulted into a fight among the group.

Another rumor is that Genos will be opposing Saitama in the second season. Saitama's loyal disciple will reportedly leave his side and they will go separate ways. Genos seems to have seen his old self in Amai Mask.

As for the release date, there are rumors that Season 2 will come out after the English-dubbed version of Season 1 concludes. It is being aired on the Adult Swim network's Toonami block and is currently on Episode 7 titled "The Ultimate Disciple." The final episode is scheduled to be aired in October, so some say that the second season will start airing after that.

Again, these are mere rumors and speculations. Only when an official announcement is made will fans be able to truly expect "One Punch Man" Season 2.
