Chapter 104 of "My Hero Academia," otherwise known as "Boku no Hero Academia," shows the protagonists in a bid to pass the Provisional Hero License Exam. They are up against a huge number of others so they have to use their attack skills, information-gathering abilities, and teamwork to get through it.

Titled "Climax! Each of Out Abilities," the chapter starts with the rules being laid down: the participants are each given three targets that they should hide within their person. Should all three be targeted by other participants, they will be eliminated. They are also provided six balls to try to hit other people's targets. The first 100 participants to take down at least two others will be the ones to pass.

Realizing that U.A.'s students won't be defeated by using projectiles, a participant from Ketsubutsu Academy hardens the balls like concrete. Kyouka uses Heartbeat Fuzz, while Mina uses Acid Veil in order to protect Minoru. Fumikage, meanwhile, uses Black Ankh to equip himself with Dark Shadow then uses Piercing Claw of the Dusk. At this point, Mera says no one has yet passed, but Izuki is waiting to find out the other participants' Quirks and weak points.

You Shindou of Ketsubutsu Academy says that he will disrupt Class 1-A's solid defense and uses Shake then his move Way of the Quaking Earth. As the participants feel the tremors, Inasa Yoarashi of Shiketsu High creates wind to sweep the examinees' balls up into the air. He manages to eliminate 120 participants, which shocks Mera but nonetheless makes Inasa the first one to pass.

Izuku realizes that their opponents have done their homework and know what moves to use. He decides that Class 1-A needs to team up in order to withstand the teamwork exhibited by Ketsubutsu Academy. He then gets hit by a ball from female student of Shiketsu High, and she finds it cool that he can still smile despite being at a disadvantage.

Izuku now prepares for the real battle to pass the Provisional Hero License Exam.

Meanwhile, Season 2 of the "My Hero Academia" anime has been announced, according to Anime News Network, but there is no release date yet.
