"One Punch Man" Season 2 has not yet been officially announced, so there are a lot of speculations and rumors surfacing, primarily on its possible release date and plot.
One, there are rumors that the second season of the "One Punch Man" anime will be released after the English-dubbed version concludes. The original run of the Japanese version took place from October to December 2015, and the English version is currently being aired on the Toonami block of cable network Adult Swim.
The English-dubbed version is now on Episode 6 titled "The Terrifying City," released on Aug. 20, which means that there are only six more episodes left. Episode 7, titled "The Ultimate Disciple," will be aired on Aug. 27, and Episode 8, titled "The Deep Sea King," will be released on Sept. 10.
While the release dates of Episodes 9 to 12 have yet to be announced, the conclusion has been speculated to take place in October. This has led some to speculate that "One Punch Man" Season 2 might be aired some time in November, although there is no official basis for this.
For another thing, there are rumors that the anime adaptation of the popular manga will show Saitama losing his powers. If this happens, then the protagonist will have a hard time facing his future enemies. Genos is said to become the new hero and the two would be on opposite sides. Again, this is mere speculation that has been going around on the Internet.
Speaking of enemies, there are predictions that Saitama would face Boros again, but the latter is going to be stronger than before. Also, he might have to fight against Amai Mask and Garou.
But it's not going to be all fighting for the hero, if rumors turn out to be true. Yibada reported that Saitama might have a love interest in "One Punch Man" Season 2.
While waiting for any announcement on the next season of the anime, fans can continue reading the "One Punch Man" manga or they can watch the English-dubbed episodes on Toonami.
