Speculations about Khal Drogo returning from the dead is still a bit hazy but is shedding some light from Jason Momoa's Instagram posts.

It's been a while since Khal has been seen on "Game of Thrones". Jason Momoa's character died in the first season.  He was killed in a brawl together with another clan member. Upon his death, wife and Khaleesi Daenerys Targaryen played by Emilia Clarke will take over the throne. At this moment, there is still no clue if the "Aquaman" actor reprises his role, according to Us Weekly.

The 37-year-old hunk lately posted on Instagram a picture of himself in Northern Ireland taking part in a Guinness with David Benioff and D.B Weiss, senior creators of "Games of Thrones". Northern Ireland is one of the major filming locations of the show.

Momoa's fans began guessing if he will return from the dead. In the first season, his wife Daenerys Targaryen burnt him to ashes in a funeral pyre. She made the drastic decision involuntarily sacrificing their expected son to save his husband from a fatal infection with the use of magic. However, the decision was even made more dreadful as she ended up suffocating him with a pillow after being brought to life but as a vegetable, Mail Online reported.

The Hawaiian actor reprised his role in the second season when his queen visited him in the House of the Undying. She perceives him in their tent while cuddling their baby and heir Rhaego in his arms. Shortly after the touching reunion, she decided to leave knowing the fact that both husband and son are already dead and what she sees is only an illusion.

Drogo's return will surely be quite a dramatic event. Enemies will be surprised to see him rise from the dead and fans will rejoice as they waited long enough to see their favorite character.

Momoa has been to and fro in England and Ireland since he is filming Aquaman where he plays the major character. The "Game of Thrones" will arrive in HBO in summer of 2017.
