"Attack on Titan" Season 2 will feature a revelation about Krista Lenz' identity and an introduction of a new Titan named Zeke. Apart from these, the upcoming season will also focus on the revolution against the Reiss family, one of the most affluent families within the walls of Sheena.
It is suspected that the secret of Reiss family, including the real identity of the alleged heir to the throne, Historia Reiss, will be highlighted in "Attack on Titan" season 2. She is said to be the same person as Krista who is the strongest shape shifter in the series and the daughter of King Rod Reiss. Their family, however, are suspected to hide the "Coordinates," the cradle of power among Titans, for generations, Inverse reported.
The upcoming rebellion against the Reiss family is suggested to force Krista to reveal her true identity on "Attack on Titan" season 2. She will be compelled to tell the truth and choose whether to remain faithful to her duty as a Scouting Legion member or as an heir to her family. The said rebellion will be led by Corps 13 Commander Erwin Smith reportedly.
Meanwhile, Zeke, the most human-like Titan will also appear in "Attack on Titan" season 2. Zeke has an incomparable intelligence and speaking ability like a human, Siliconera reported. However, no confirmation has been revealed if he will be Krista's ally or foe yet.
"Attack on Titan" season 2 is expected to see Krista, Zeke, Eren, Yeager, Mikasa, Armin and other characters to battle head on with every chaos that are bound to begin. Reports claim that the "Attack on Titan" season 2 will roll out in the second quarter of 2017 as the script has already been prepared since a few months ago.
