An insider hinted that Rockstar Games and Sony will be at a PlayStation Meeting on Sept. 7 in New York. While Rockstar tends to be scant on details on their upcoming games, this could mean that another big title could be released, such as the next "Red Dead Redemption" game.

A report from Gamezone states that the insider, Tidux, has not revealed any other details other than an emoji of a guitar and a star (which may pertain to Rockstar Games) and the letters "PSM" with a hashtag in his tweet. This could point out the possibility of its development for the next game in the "Red Dead" series and its compatibility for the upcoming PlayStation 4 Neo.

Earlier this year, Tech Radar reported a leaked map of the game landscape, in which people initially questioned its legitimacy. It was eventually confirmed, however, to be the real deal, also adding that the game will be a prequel to "Red Dead Redemption."

Earlier this year, during the events of Sony's E3 conference, fans were disappointed in not seeing a new "Red Dead Redemption" game. It was rumored, however, that Rockstar supposedly scheduled a big trailer for the game but had to pull off at the last minute due to the scenes being depicted.

Inside sources claimed that the scenes in the trailer depicted outlaws shooting up people in a parlor, which was similar to the events in Orlando at the time, according to Sony. Sony denied any of this being planned, but the conference felt abrupt and had out-of-place moments based on the accounts of the audiences.

In conjunction with the PlayStation Meeting, more details on the PS4 Neo will also be revealed. If the PS4 is already powerful enough, the PlayStation 4 Neo is even more powerful, handling games at 4k resolutions. Games playable on the PS4 will be still be playable on the PS4 Neo, which would possibly be the same for Red Dead Redemption 2.
