How do you get the attention of the customer service department of a brand when you want to make a return or exchange request? Make a creative letter to the tune of Eminem's lyrics.

It's inevitable to stumble into some trouble when ordering things online. While making the purchase is easy, trying to resolve issues could be a huge problem. To ease the burden, an ASOS customer went for a more creative route when the company failed to respond to his complaint about a faulty suit he had just returned.

The customer, identified as DJ Jay Whalley, wrote a clever letter inspired by Eminem's hit track "Stan." According to The Daily Mail, Whalley started his letter with, "Dear ASOS, I sent you my exchange but still it ain't returning." He ends his note with, "Anyways, I hope you get this man, hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan."

But Whalley wasn't the only creative genius in this joint. Rianna of ASOS' customer complaints team cooked up the perfect response to the message by using another verse from the same Eminem song. "We'll get this sorted, no stress. Bless," Rianna said in her apology letter, in which she also asked Whalley to send his order number and email address.

When asked about the incident, Whalley told Mirror that he bought a suit from ASOS for an awards ceremony, but noticed that it was damaged. When writing the complaint, he decided to be creative, instead of just whine and complain with the "wrong attitude."

"It's just typical banter, and it's good to have a laugh about it - it's just good customer service at the end of the day," Whalley said. "I didn't imagine it would go as far as it did - I thought it would stay within my network of friends, but it's been shared hundreds of times." He added that ASOS' customer service "is normally excellent."

Fans of the clothing brand praised the retailer's reply and Whalley's genius complaint letter. However, Eminem loyalists thought Rianna could've done it better if she used the reply verse from Eminem's "Stan" song.
