The recent Netflix streaming of "Limitless" Season 1 raises speculations about the possible production of Season 2.

According to Parent Herald, despite having Bradley Cooper in their production team and Jake McDorman as its lead, the CBS television series was unfortunately cancelled in May. Eversince, avid viewers have been wondering if another network will save the show and air it on their network instead.

When Netflix announced that they will be streaming the first season of "Limitless" this July, avid fans and other curious individuals were thrilled to be able to see the TV show again. With that said, this ignited a hope that the TV series may be renewed for "Limitless" Season 2 under Netflix.

However, producer Craig Sweeny denied all rumors that the show will be salvaged by other networks, saying that even online streaming websites such as Netflix and Amazon have rejected the TV show, including other television networks in the United States.

Despite having impressive ratings and decent viewership on the CBS network, fans speculate via Reddit that the show was cancelled because their specific target demographic did not really engage with the show.

Although Sweeny already denied that "Limitless" Season 2 may have a chance of being saved by Netflix, the fact that it will be streamed on the streaming platform may likely save the show for another run. It is said that if there is enough people who will stream the TV series, TV networks and even Netflix itself may reconsider renewing the show.
