Rumors of divorce continue to hound celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, with rumors spreading that Pitt is apparently lonely and that the reason behind the problems is Pitt's "Allied" co-star Marion Cotillard.
Pitt and Jolie, who got married in December 2015, have been reported to be having serious marital issues, although the reasons for the problems have not been clarified. Reports point to the hectic schedule of Jolie, a humanitarian worker as the reason for the alleged discord. According to India Today, Pitt's closeness with Cotillard is also contributing to the marital strain between the two.
Jolie is reportedly doing her best to save the marriage and plans to take some time off and have a "crisis talk" with her husband in order to fix the situation which is described as already "spiraling out of control." The couple will reportedly retire to their Chateau Miraval homestead to try to talk things over.
According to International Business Times, Pitt is "seriously lonely" due to the schedule of Jolie. The actress is very serious about her humanitarian work and has championed a lot of causes which she feels are important. She has been going around the globe in the past few months including Lebanon, Greece and Washington D.C. for her humanitarian work and they have been spending less time together, according to sources.
According to the same publication, Jolie also felt "humiliated" last month when Pitt waved the starting flag in the Le Mans auto race in France while she watched a show in New York, which led to more problems.
To date, there is still no confirmation from Pitt and Jolie that their marriage is in trouble and that they are considering divorce.
