India's first transgender music group, 6 Pack Band, collaborated with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, actress Anushka Sharma and Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for its sixth music video.

The band, which comprises six transgenders aged between 21 to 35 years, on Thursday released a music video for Rahat Fateh Ali Khan' song Raula Pe Gaya from Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma's upcoming biopic Sultan.

Yash Raj Films (YRF)' youth wing Y-Films, which is behind the launch of 6 Pack Band, said in a press statement that the Raula Pe Gaya music video would be the band's biggest project so far.

"For the last song we have an epic campaign. It's going to be the biggest one. We have collaborated with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, he has sung with the band. The video also has shorts of Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma," the company's spokesman Ashish Patil said, PTI reported.

"Towards the end, Anushka will talk about acceptance, love and why disrespect anyone. It is not just about transgender but all those who have been neglected."

It was not the first time the band has collaborated with Bollywood celebrities. The pop band, which won the Cannes Grand Prix Glass Lion this year, previously worked with actor Hrithik Roshan, singer Sonu Nigam. The trans singers also teamed up with Zanai, grand daughter of popular singer Asha Bhosle, for one of their five music videos.

Launched in 2015, band's debut music video Hum Hain Happy - inspired by Pharrell William's Happy - and second song Sab Rab De Bande - The Chai Song were massive hits on YouTube. Check out band's two other music videos here.
