Taiwanese singer and actor Nicky Wu recently performed in Shanghai, and he was stunned after his wife actress Cecilia Liu (Liu Shi Shi) appeared on stage with flowers in her hand.
According to Asian Pop News, Nicky was in the middle of singing the song Hand in Hand when Cecilia appeared out of nowhere and handed him a bouquet of blue and white roses. Moved by the thoughtful gesture, Nicky was shocked and apparently forgot his lyrics.
When he saw his wife, the 45-year-old singer scratched his head in confusion and attempted to stay calm.
Meanwhile, fans cheered on the couple to kiss. Nicky kissed Cecilia on her cheek and jokingly asked the fans afterward, "Are you satisfied now?"
Nicky briefly explained why he was surprised by his wife's presence. "I thought she is still in Beijing. Before the concert, she only sent me a text message and asked if I remembered my lyrics. When I replied, 'no,' she did not respond."
Even after the song ended, the adorable couple continued to hold hands with Nicky saying, "I will never let go!"
Nicky and Cecilia registered their marriage in January 2015 and held a lavish wedding banquet on March 20, 2016, in Bali, Indonesia. According to Jayne Stars, Nicky made sure that it was a memorable occasion for his wife. He allegedly spent more than $3 million on their wedding, which required six private planes for the guests and equipment, including 400,000 thousand flowers sourced from Netherlands and Ecuador.
