The dashing actor was asked about his thoughts on young actors attempting to dress like K-Pop "Flower Boys."

Daniel did not hold his sharp tongue back and said that he does not understand why actors try to look like K-Pop stars. "If you dress like that, it will affect your acting," he said.

He noted that there are many actors who have tried to look like Korean stars and end up with makeup on their faces and weird hairstyles. "It becomes something like a man who doesn't look like a man," Daniel bluntly stated.

"Many Korean stars dress this way because they are singers, and they are not actors. If you dress strangely everyday, how will you portray a normal character. Audiences will have a certain impression of you, and this will affect your performance," he added.

Although Daniel might have meant it simply as advice, some have taken offense with his remarks, resulting in various discussions on social media.

Some people have agreed with Daniel's opinions, but others have opposed his views. "Even if you prefer manly man, you don't have to trample on other types of men," one user wrote.

The Hong Kong-based American actor is currently on tour promoting the Hollywood movie Warcraft, which is currently showing in theaters.
