On Sunday night, "MTV Movie and TV Awards 2017," which one of the most awaited events in the Hollywood industry happened. Get to know the winners for the different categories below.

According to Washington Post, the "MTV Movie and TV Awards" happened on May 7, 2017, at the spacious Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. It is reportedly a good location for the biggest star's award. The 26th edition of the award ceremony was hosted by Adam Devine. It was broadcasted and aired on different channels, MTV.com and in MTV app on mobile. The acting categories were neutral no matter what the gender is which was being emphasised on the event.

The "Pitch Perfect" actor's performance was inspired by the "Beauty and the Beast" movie, which put the audience in awe. The stage was reportedly covered in confetti for 30 minutes. His performance was also mixed with a few inspiration from "Cinderella."

Meanwhile, Vanity Fair enlisted The actors who stand out on the stage was overwhelmed and used their time to deliver powerful speeches.

As per Digital Spy, Emma Watson won the movie prize for best actor for her performance in the "Beauty and the Beast" completed by while Millie Bobby Brown won the best actor in a TV show for playing eleven in "Stranger Things." "Moonlight" co- stars Ashton Sanders and Jharrel Jerome won the award for "Best Kiss" on screen.

"Stranger things" won as the show of the year. The "Beauty and the Beast" was chosen as the winner of the Movie of the Year. The best actor in the movie and the "Next Generation" Winner is Daniel Kaluuya.

For the Best Villain winner is Jeffrey Dean Morgan of "The Walking Dead." The best host winner goes to Trevor Noah of "The Daily Show." The "13th" is the winner for "Best Documentary."

Meanwhile, for "Best Reality Competition" won "RuPaul's Drag Race. The Best Comedic Performance award got by Lil Rel Howery. The best hero winner was Taraji P. Henson of "Hidden Figures." The Tearjerker Winner "This is Us" Jack ( Milo Ventimiglia) and Randall ( Lonnie Chavis.) The Karate Best Dou- Hugh Jackman and Dafne Keen of the movie " Logan." "Black-ish" is the Best American Story of the year. The Best Fight Against the System is "Hidden Figures".

The long day event blended with so much fun and pride for MTV Movie and TV Awards second-biggest night. The awardees received their golden prices which made the show an interesting night for everyone.
