Tiffany Hwang of popular South Korean girl group Girls' Generation's (aka SNSD) has decided to extend her concert tour, WEEKEND - Tiffany, by adding three more shows.
Tiffany, who has been a member of Girls' Generation since 2007, will embark on her first solo concert tour. Due to the overwhelming response, with fans clamoring for more tickets (after they sold out like hotcakes), Tiffany wants to express her gratitude to her fans and chose to do three more shows.
SM Entertainment, the talented 26-year old's agency, announced the new concert schedule via an official statement. "Due to the great support for Tiffany's first solo concert, 3 additional shows will take place on June 24-26, which now makes it a total of 6 shows all together. Therefore, Tiffany's first solo concert 'WEEKEND- TIFFANY' will now be on the 10th-12th as well as the 24th-26th, taking over a total of 6 days and 6 shows," the statement reads.
Tiffany's concerts will take place at the SMTOWN Coex Artium's SMTOWN Theatre, Seoul.
Fans who want to see Tiffany live can grab their tickets for the additional concerts on June 7. The ticket will go one sale at 8 p.m. KST via Yes24.
Tiffany debuted as a solo singer in May 2016 and is relishing the success of her first ever solo album called, I Wanna Dance. The album has already won various awards on Show Champion and The Show.
Aside from being a singer, Tiffany has also dabbled in acting, playing the role of Carmen Diaz in the highly acclaimed musical Fame, from Nov. 25, 2011, to Jan. 29, 2012.
Tiffany is also a regular cast member on the show Sister's Slam Dunk, along with actresses Min Hyo-rin and Ra Mi-ran, as well as Lucky J's Jessi.
