"Man to Man" is JTBC Network's newest drama and it is now occupying the time slot left by the hit "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon." Its predecessor has been extremely popular and was able to maintain its high ratings until the end. Amazingly, the new drama is doing even better by surpassing Do Bong Soon's first episode ratings.

According to Seoul News, "Man to Man" premiered on April 21 with an average viewership rating of 4.8% nationwide. On the other hand, although it is considered as high, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" only earned 3.829% on its first episode.

As a result, "Man to Man" is now the holder of JTBC's drama with the highest viewership rating for its premiere episode. Even if many people are crediting the opening success of the drama to its lead actor Park Hae Jin, the good story and impressive support cast should not be left out as well.

The new television series is about a skilled secret agent named Kim Seol Woo (Park Hae Jin). As part of his undercover assignment, he serves as the bodyguard of a popular male celebrity Yeo Un Gwang (Park Sung Woong).

Park's character of the secret agent will eventually get involved in love triangle with Yeo's manager Cha Do Ha (Kim Min Jung.) Yeon Jung Hoon will play as the drama's antagonist named Mo Seung Jae, a business magnate.

Yonhap News Agency reported that "Man to Man" has been set to air worldwide via video streaming powered by Netflix. The 16-episode drama series will stream at the same time as its airing time in Korea, in at least 190 countries.

"Man to Man" filming has already been completed prior to its premiere so an extension after the 16th episode is unlikely. Meanwhile, the drama has been written by Kim Won Suk, the same person who co-wrote the blockbuster KBS drama, "Descendants of the Sun."
