Park Hyung Sik credits ongoing success to ZE:A; Idol-turned-actor reveals true feelings to ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon' leading lady Park Bo YoungBy / 2017.04.21
From playing as King Jinheung in "Hwarang" to becoming CEO Ahn Min Hyuk in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," Park Hyung Sik has surely become one the most in demand actors in the industry right now.
Despite his ongoing success as an actor, the 27-year-old star did not forget to look back to where he started his career. In a recent interview, Park Hyung Sik opened up about ZE:A and how his experience with the group has contributed to what he has become.
As much as they tried to bring ZE:A to success, the nine-member band failed to survive in the competitive world of K-pop. Park Hyung Sik, however, believed that their unfortunate fate as a group has led them to a better place.
"Of course it would have been great if we'd done well, but I believe it was destined that way," he said as per Allkpop. "We definitely did our best and were desperate, but it must just have been heaven's will."
Park Hyung Sik added that the present moment is what's more important. "If we had done well as a group, we may not be where we are now," he explained.
The "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actor also thanked his ZE:A co-members whom he considers his family. On the other hand, Park Hyung Sik candidly talked about his true feelings towards his leading lady in the JTBC hit series.
"I really loved Park Bo Young. She's that lovable. She really was Do Bong Soon and, because Park Bo Young truly was Do Bong Soon, I loved her. I wanted to love her more but [the drama] unfortunately ended," he expressed as cited by Soompi.
The onscreen couple has been getting much attention after showing their chemistry in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon." In fact, Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik are dominating the latest ranking for brand value amidst the success of their drama.
