Canto-pop singer Aaron Kwok married a model 22 years younger, Moka Fang

Canto-pop singer and actor Aaron Kwok married Chinese model Moka Fang in a private ceremony on Tuesday, April 18. The wedding was attended by close friends and relatives.

Kwok and Fang announced to be in the relationship in December 2015. They were dating for two years before tying the knot last Tuesday at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong. Following the ceremony, the newlywed couple hosted a small 10-table banquet, South China Morning Post reported.

The 51-year-old singer and actor kept his wedding away from the media, and security at the premise was very tight during the event. In order to share his happy day with fans and media, he released photos of his wedding day to allow the press and fans take a closer look into the wedding. In one of the photos, a fellow actor Julian Cheung was pictured to be one of the groomsmen, Strait Times reported.

Kwok is a well-known Canto-pop and Mando-pop singer. He climbed into fame in Taiwan after starring in a motorcycle commercial in 1990. He later released three successful albums in Taiwan to kickstart his music career.

He returned to Hong Kong a year later and resumed his singing career. Kwok became one of the most successful pop stars in Hong Kong, and hs popularity was also spread throughout Asia. Along with Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung and Leon Lai, they are the dominant names in entertainment sector in the Chinese-speaking world during the 1990's.

While his 29-year old bride, Fang is a Shanghai-based model who became famous in 2012 when she appeared on the China's TV variety show. Kwok was reported to propose her during last year's holiday after two years of dating.

The wedding was prepared in secret. Neither fans, netizen or media was able to know the exact wedding day and the venue until the D-day. Watch the compilation of the photos from Kwok and Fang wedding below:
