The agency added their artist has started his preparation for the role in "Fabrication" which is expected to start rolling next month for a possible release in July. Further reports stated the Namgoong Min-starrer will take over the Monday-Tuesday time slot of "My Sassy Girl."

In "Chief Kim," the actor received positive feedbacks from the viewers for his acting and bromance with 2PM's Junho. The comedy series even maintained a two-digit rating until its 20-episode run concluded last month.

Similarly, Namgoong Min earned a nomination for the Best Actor (TV) award at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards happening on May 3. The "Chief Kim" actor is competing against Gong Yoo for "Goblin," Park Bo Gum for "Love in the Moonlight," Jo Jung Suk for "Jealousy Incarnate," and veteran actor Han Suk Kyu for "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim."

Aside from his upcoming drama with SBS, Namgoong Min is also expected to make a special appearance on JTBC's "Man to Man" which stars Park Hae Jin.
