KPop idol Dasom expressed her displeasure on being compared with Girl’s Day member Hyeri during the press conference for SBS’ latest drama installment titled “Unnie Is Alive”.

According to the SISTAR member, she is against the idea of being compared with Hyeri as the both of them have skills that differ from each other. However, she added that she highly appreciates everyone who sees the good light in them.

"I don't think it's right to be compared to Hyeri who proved herself through 'Reply 1988'. I appreciate everyone who perceives both Hyeri and me in a positive way… I want to do well in this production and crush the stereotype against idol actors," stated Dasom as quoted by All KPop.

She continued regarding her career plans: “It's a long drama so I want to become a trustworthy actress who can handle both singing and acting for the 6 months. I have strong passion and desires so I believe I can get good results if I concentrate throughout the 6 months."

Meanwhile, Dasom has recently graced the latest issue of SBS's ”One Night of Real Entertainment”. During the show, the Hallyu star revealed that she and her fellow “Unnie Is Alive” cast members are planning to party at a club if the rating of their show will gain a high percentage in terms of viewership.

“If the ratings exceed 30%, I will dance in the club with Oh Yeon Ah sunbae-nim," Dasom gladly shared as quoted by Soompi.

Born as Kim Dasom, the singer-actress began her career in the entertainment industry in 2010 after joining SISTAR together with Hyolyn, Bora, and Soyou. The group was introduced through the KBS program ”Music Bank” with their single "Push Push".

In 2012, the artist entered the world of acting through the family sitcom “Shut Up Family”. She later appeared in dramas “Melody of Love” and “Melody of Love” as well as the film “Like a French Film”. Her latest acting project “Unnie Is Alive” is set to premier on April 15.
