"Running Man" continues to suffer from viewership loss following last year's fallout between the cast members and production team which even led to cancellation rumors.

In fact, the SBS variety program recently recorded its lowest rating in seven years after its April 9 broadcast.

According to Allkpop, "Running Man" only mustered a viewership of 3.4 percent, while its contenders, "The Return of Superman" and "Masked Singer," achieved 9.3 and 13.6 percent ratings, respectively.

The poor performance of the SBS variety program came after the show announced its decision to add two new running mates. Just last week, "Running Man" welcomed Yang Se Chan and Jeon So Min onboard as the newest members of the variety program.

During their first meeting with the production team, the two reportedly surprised the staffers when they revealed something about themselves. Contrary to her innocent face, Jeon So Min candidly shared she has a dirty mind.

Yang Se Chan, on the other hand, warned the "Running Man" team of his competitiveness, promising that he will defeat everyone. Both members are expected to join the original cast for the filming of their upcoming episode on Monday.

A network insider revealed the cast members have been divided into three teams to invade Jeju Island, Taiwan and Osaka as per Soompi. "Running Man" also invited Jang Do Yeon to team up with Lee Kwang Soo and Kim Jong Kook for their Jeju Island mission.

On the other hand, Song Ji Hyo, Haha, and Yang Se Chan will fly to Taiwan for the episode. Lastly, Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, and Jeon So Min are bound for Japan for the upcoming "Running Man" broadcast.

The said episode is scheduled to air on April 23; however, Yang Se Chan and Jeon So Min will make their debut as the newest members of "Running Man" on April 16.
