Highlight member Dongwoon has recently shared how he perceived the girl band Gugudan in the recent installment of “Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook”.

According to the 25-year-old artist as quoted by All KPop: “The singers that I have my eyes on tend to do well… I think Gugudan will do well."

Aside from sharing his thoughts about the group, Dongwoo, together with his fellow Highlight members, have also presented their independent entertainment company Around Us Entertainment. At the latter part of the show, the boys performed a song number that has swept away the heart of the studio audience.

Meanwhile, Dongwoon has recently graced the press conference for O tvN's latest program offering titled ”Weekend in the Forest”. During the event, the singer looked back Highlight’s rebellious days with their former talent management agency Cube Entertainment.

“If we really wanted to do something drastic as our act of rebellion, we could have skipped out on a music program; however, we felt that we wouldn’t be able to handle that so we decided to bail on a photo shoot instead,” shared Dongwoon as quoted by Soompi.

He continued revealing more of their unruly adventures: “ We left our dorm to stay in a hotel for the entire day and cut off all contact with our agency for the day. That was BEAST’s greatest act of rebellion.”

Dongwoon joined Highlight (formerly knows as BEAST/ B2ST) in 2009 alongside Yoon Doo Joon, Yong Jun Hyung, Yang Yo Seob, Jang Hyun Seung and Lee Gi Kwang under the management of Cube Entertainment. Throughout their career, the band has produced three Korean full-length albums, nine Korean mini-albums, and two Japanese full-length albums. Their recent record released under their rebranded name is titled “Can You Feel It?” which is composed of six tracks including “Plz Don’t Be Sad”, “It’s Still Beautiful”, and many more.
