"Will & Grace" will soon return to its primetime slot on NBC. It would be months before the TV sitcom airs but the entertainment company has already ordered and stretching to 12 episodes.

It's been a while since the last time the casts of "Will & Grace" make the fans laugh their hearts out. NBC considered the show as one of its leading assets for the next season which was presented foremost and at the heart of NBCUniversal's direct spot promoting the company's consolidated group of networks, according to Deadline.

The people behind who will gear the "Will & Grace" Revival sitcom include David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, both creators and executive producers along with director/executive producer James Burrows. Mutchnick was the one responsible for the show's reunion mini-episode who gathered the members together and got the original set put together located in lot's basement where NBC series usually films. Both Kohan and Mutchnick penned the script, while original casts Bill Wrubel and Gary Janetti add some funny antics to spice up the show.

Originally, "Will & Grace" is about to air with 10 episodes only but NBC extended it to 12. Back in January, it was announced that NBC ordered the TV show's revival that is, after the reunion of the original casts; Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, Sean Hayes, and Debra Messing in a 10-minute short episode last September, Mail Online reported. However, Messing mentioned that the network does not have the notion of working on the current burgeoning special which turned its spotlight on the US presidential election in November.

'We thought, you know what, we have so much to say in the only way we can say it, which is always putting the funny first but also always commenting on what is happening in politics and pop culture and social norms.'

Beginning 1998 to 2006, "Will & Grace" aired as one of the NBC's topmost TV series in regards to its comedy programs. Aside from having a colossal heritage, the sitcom has already bagged 16 Emmy Awards not to mention the best comedy series. It is also recognized for introducing LGBT characters in the TV show by presenting a gay lead character. No release date has been disclosed for the airing but the shooting starts on August.
