Chapter 92 of "Attack on Titan" is just around the corner and the popular manga series is set to continue the time-skip chapter featuring the warriors from the Marleyan side. A recent leak also came out and it points to the next generation of Titans as well as the next group of rebels to take on the Marley government.
Chapter 92 Spoilers
According to Read SNK, the upcoming chapter will reveal a successful infiltration mission of the Marley corps. Because of the mission's success Gabi becomes the top candidate as the next Armored Titan. In the previous chapter, Gabi was instrumental in attacking the Fortress because she volunteered in becoming a decoy for possible attacks.
The upcoming chapter will also reveal Colt's fate and immediate end. Colt is the true heir of Ape Titan as the eldest son of Zeke but the upcoming chapter reveals that he is actually working against the Marley government since he is part of the group working to regain the status of Eldians. Because of this revelation, Colt is killed by his father in front of Falco - his younger brother.
The spoiler for the upcoming chapter is unconfirmed but highly plausible. Gabi was instrumental in attack Slava Fortress so becomes the Armored Titan while Falco becomes the default inheritor of the Ape Titan after Colt's death at the hands of his father.
Relation to Season 2 Anime
The latest chapters of "Attack on Titan" offers a great perspective of the past episodes in the anime series. This is particularly important since the highly anticipated second season just released its first episode. According to My Anime List, the second season will run with 12 episodes only which means it will not cover much of the manga.
But even with a limited number of episodes, the anime adaptation of the manga series continues. As the manga expands to its war aside from Eldians and Marleys, the anime adaptation will also expand.
