It's a beautiful day not to be sad as Highlight dominated several music charts for their newest songs "Plz Don't Be Sad" and "Beautiful" on Tuesday.

Both singles are under their mini-album "Can You Feel It?" which was released on Monday. The newest release formally marked the comeback of the boy group as Highlight from their previous image as BEAST.

A day after their highly anticipated return, Lee Gi Kwang took to his Instagram account to thank the fans for making their comeback a success. "Is this real life, everyone...? Thank you so much," he wrote as per Soompi.

The idol continued, I'm so happy and content. It's all thanks to you. Highlight and I will work harder. Thank you. I'm so, so happy! Please don't be sad today and have a great day!"

The post was accompanied by a screenshot of Highlight's ranking on a music chart, where "Plz Don't Be Sad" and "Beautiful" placed first and second.

After a roller coaster ride with the Cube Entertainment, the five-member boy group is finally back on track under Around US Entertainment. During a guest appearance on MBC's "My Little Television-46," the boys revealed it was a mutual decision to name the band Highlight.

"Member Dongwoon was the one who suggested Highlight at first. We all agreed on it in 5 minutes," the members said as cited by Allkpop.

Dongwoon, on the other hand, explained how he has come up with the idea, stating that he got it from BEAST's last album. "I had a poster of it lying on my kitchen table.  After seeing that, I asked my fellow members what they thought of Highlight," he said.

Kikwang added they have decided to name the group Highlight since the album has a sentimental value to the boy group.

Meanwhile, watch the boys in the official music video of "Plz Don't Be Sad."
