Is the G-Dragon comeback 2017 finally happening? The BIGBANG leader recently posted a photo that sparked speculations that he might be preparing for his grand solo return.

G-Dragon posted a photo on Instagram showing him participating in a photo shoot. It wasn't clarified, however, if the shoot is related to G-Dragon comeback 2017.

YG Entertainment told Ilgan Sports (via allkpop) that G-Dragon is indeed making a solo comeback this year, but no detailed schedule has been finalized yet. The G-Dragon comeback 2017 will be the singer's first solo promotions in almost four years ever since he released "Coup D'état" in 2013.

According to allkpop, insiders revealed that G-Dragon is working on his upcoming solo album and has not yet set a specific comeback date to allow him to work on his album steadily and not rush things. It is also said that G-Dragon will go on a solo concert after he stages his solo comeback. It is likely, however, that his comeback will push through in the first half of 2017.

Aside from G-Dragon, Taeyang is also another BIGBANG member that's rumored to make a comeback earlier in the earlier half of this year. Like G-Dragon, Taeyang is also preparing to go on a solo concert series as part of his promotional activity.

For now, the agency is focusing on the comeback activities of WINNER and iKON. WINNER will make a comeback in April, and the group has completed filming their music video. The music video was shot in Los Angeles, California, This will be the first time WINNER promotes as a four-member group as former member Nam Tae Hyun has officially left the group in 2016.

As for iKON, the group will promote with double title tracks-both of which were penned by the members themselves. iKON's comeback will follow WINNER's and is expected to take place sometime around April as well.
