'Asia's Next Top Model' Season 4: Filipina Beaut Julian Flores EliminatedBy / 2016.05.26
The Philippine's Julian Flores has been eliminated from the popular series Asia's Next Top Model Season 4 on Wednesday, May 25.
The Filipina beauty garnered an overall score of 40 points. It was a close fight with Thailand's Jiratchaya Kedkong (aka Tawan) who got 41.5 points.
"I'm not gonna tell you how beautiful you are, because you know that. I want you to go away from this hoping that you've learned not only what it means to be a model but what it means to be real," host and judge Cindy Bishop told Flores. "Being professional doesn't mean hiding emotion, it means knowing which ones to show at which time."
According to the panel of judges, Flores failed to reflect her true personality in her last photoshoot. This could reportedly create a significant impact on how she is remembered by casting agents.
"You have so much potential. Thank you for being with us," Bishop said.
Flores, on the other hand, thanked the judges for their guidance and knowledge they imparted to her.
"I'm sure I made the Philippines proud and I want to thank you for everything that you've taught me, not just in modeling but in everything in life," she said.
While packing her bags, Flores continued: "I met a lot of great people in the competition and I will cherish every moment I spent with them. It's a big honor for me to meet these people."
Now that Flores is out, three remaining girls, namely Tawan, Indonesia's Patricia Gunawan, and South Korea's Sang In Kim, will outdo each other to win the coveted title.
Other than Flores, two other Filipina beauts joined the competition. Gwendoline Ruais was eliminated, while Alaiza Malinao voluntarily exited the show.
Philippine's pride Monika Sta. Maria snatched the first runner up spot last season.
