"Outlander" season 3 fans got excited as stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe made an appearance at Emerald City Comicon last March 3rd. So, what does the fans need to watch out for the new season?

According to Yahoo, new episodes of "Outlander" season 3 are set to air in September. Sam Heughan's on-screen lover, Caitriona Balfe made a statement so fans can get a glimpse of what might happen to Claire in the series and that their separation will be part of their character development in the series.

That direction in their storyline is the least of their problems at one point. According to Vulture, Balfe mentioned the scene wherein there was attack by wolves on set. She explains that in the series, Father Bain was supposed to have a scene wherein he was threatened by a pack of dogs, and gets bit by one of them.

Claire offered to treat his wounds because it can cause an infection, but the priest refused and walked away limping. The priest later uses this as a case against her, accusing her warning as a witch's curse. Balfe continues on saying that Tim McInnery, the actor who plays Father Bain, was actually attacked by the dogs.

In the books, Claire was thrown out of Wentworth Prison by Black Jack Randall and was attacked by one of the dogs, but manages to kill it with her bare hands and the rest of the pack shows up after. Since the occurrence of a scenario wherein an actor was almost mauled by a dog, this bad ass scene was not included in the show for obvious safety reasons.

"Outlander" season 3 stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan. It is one of the highly anticipated series this year and fans cannot wait to see how everything unfolds in this action-packed drama.
