'Poldark' Season 3 star Aidan Turner dead; Blue Plaques installed to commemorate actor?

New reports suggest that Aidan Turner who stars in “Poldark” Season 3 was allegedly dead. Yet, fear not "Poldark" Season 3 fans, Aidan Turner is alive and well.

Who would have thought that a blue plaque could cause a stir? According to Cornwall Live, "Poldark" Season 3 star Aidan Turner had his name on a blue plaque that was put on a luxury resort he was staying at while filming to honor him. The plaque was installed for a publicity stunt and for fun as well. The blue plaques are usually put up to commemorate a person who has been dead for at least 20 years.

Gwel an Mor Luxury Five Star Resort’s manager, Steve Hagan, did mention that the Poldark star did, in fact, stay there and they did this to boost Cornwall’s tourism. More fans have been visiting Cornwall in hopes of retracing their hero’s footsteps and maybe running into the show’s actors as they have been spotted in the area.

Poldark’s Season 3 is something to look forward to as they are going to introduce more characters and confirmed a veteran to not return in the upcoming season. According to a report by Digital Spy, many characters are going to be introduced. Debbie Horsfield, the writer of the show, teased fans with characters that will make storyline richer with more drama.

One of the new characters is Josh Whitehouse, an aristocrat who can spell trouble for Ross, will be played by Hugh Armitage. Demelza’s brothers, Drake, played by Harry Richardson, is said to make an appearance as well as Sam, played by Tom York. Sam’s love interest named Emma Tregirls, played by Ciara Charteris, is also added to the new character list.

With the new characters in “Poldark” Season 3, perhaps, intriguing storylines must be look forward to, knowing that Aidan Turner will still be in it. There will be one not expected to be seen next season. Show veteran, Phil Davis, will not be coming back for his role as Ross’ servant Jud Paynter. The character’s on screen wife Prudie, played by Beatie Edney, will continue to serve the family. It is not clear if another character will fill this gap on the show eventually.
