Jared Leto's portrayal of The Joker in "Suicide Squad" was one of the most buzzed-about topics in cinema in 2016. Sporting bright neon green hair and a wide sinister smile, Leto's The Joker sent shivers down the audience's spine. But the man that inspired his look is far less scary, and is actually quite charmer.

Prior to "Suicide Squad's" win at the 89th Academy Awards for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, all the nominees for that category had mood boards displayed at an exhibit to showcase the process behind the art and the inspiration behind them. Also included in the exhibit were nominees "Star Trek Beyond" and "A Man Called Ove."

According to Koreaboo, the exhibit for "Suicide Squad" showed the mood board for Let's The Joker. The display included the character's signature green wig as well as photos of inspirations for the look. One of the photos that were laid out was that of BIGBANG member T.O.P.

The photo of T.O.P. was taken from BIGBANG's "Alive" promotions in 2012, which is roughly four years before "Suicide Squad" hit the big screen. Although T.O.P's hair is a bit lighter than Leto's, the way T.O.P's hair was slicked back definitely looks similar to how The Joker's hair appeared in the movie.

Meanwhile, T.O.P is currently serving in the military. According to allkpop, T.O.P enlisted on Feb. 9. During the first few photos taken from T.O.P's training, fans accused the singer of receiving special treatment after it was spotted that he wore his green name tag on the left side instead of the right.

However, this error has since been corrected and newer photos show T.O.P wearing his name tag on the right side just as his fellow soldiers. T.O.P is scheduled to be discharged from the military in November 2018.
