Hallyu star Jo Yoon Hee has finally broken her silence regarding the dating issue with her former “Laurel Tree Tailors” co-star Lee Dong Gun in her recent guesting in KBS Cool FM’s ”Volume Up” on Feb. 28.
The 34-year old star began her revelation by sharing her thoughts about a special kind of love between two people. She later indirectly confirmed her relationship with Lee and asked support from everyone.
"We all dream of a special kind of love. A special kind of love that is not meant for special people but one that occurs when two ordinary people meet together. That radiant love is shining out there now somewhere," stated Jo as quoted by All KPop. "It's embarrassing to say but I think I become that radiant love for someone. You all probably have read the news by now, thank you so much for your congratulating messages and support. Please look forward to our blossoming love."
After validating the dating rumors, Jo and Lee’s talent management agencies FNC Entertainment and King Kong by Starship had also confirmed the special bond between the two stars. According to the labels as quoted by Soompi: “The two of them developed romantic feelings and began dating near the end of ‘Laurel Tree Tailors’. Please support them.”
Jo is known for her promising roles in ”My Husband Got a Family”, ”Nine: Nine Time Travels”, and “Laurel Tree Tailors” wherein she was awarded the “Excellence Award” and “Actress in a Serial Drama” by the 2016 KBS Drama Awards. Lee, on the other hand, rose to fame through his portrayal in the popular TV drama series “Lovers in Paris” in 2004. He also appeared in the films including “Love Now” and “Encounter”.
