The royal family is bound to return and that is something that Marcel aims at preventing when "The Originals" Season 4 returns. Reports of Klaus seeking redemption, losing his will and the reality of meeting his daughter Hope are escalating.
Spoilers Guide reported that CW has released the promotional images for the March 17th episode of "The Originals" Season 4 Episode 1 "Gather Up the Killers" and the episode unveiled that on the fifth anniversary of Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) defeat, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) is king of the city and welcomes the un-sired vampires to New Orleans.
With Klaus imprisoned and the Mikaelsons are in deep slumber, Marcel is the king of the New Orleans. However, his rule is facing a threat that even Marcel could not prevent when "The Originals" Season 4 returns on air. The same report added on to note that, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) closes in on the cure that will allow her to revive Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and the slumbering Mikaelsons, she faces a final task that will force her to make a ruthless decision.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly also relayed that "Containment" actress Christina Moses joins the cast as Keelin, an openly bisexual ER doctor and the last living werewolf of her line. It is presumed that Moses' presence would be the turning point for the series and it might alter the entire storyline of "The Originals" Season 4.

For the fans and followers, it remains uncertain as to how far Marcel would keep on with his power tirade. Also, as for the cure that Hayley is searching for, that remains to be seen when "The Originals" Season 4 airs this coming March 17, 2017.
