One of the best things about "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is the fact that it's going to be bigger and a lot more unpredictable because of the new characters and villains becoming heroes. But if there's a character that's set to be a lot bigger than he should be, it's going to be Taserface.
Funny Name with Unknown Blasting Plans
"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will hit the big screen this may and it's already expected to be a blockbuster simply because of the amazing cast from its predecessor and brand new characters. But that leaves some space to the possible villains in the upcoming film. While Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) plays a role as the main villain of the film, she's not the only one who will have a bigger piece of pie in the movie.
The other villain that will go after the Guardians is Taserface (Chris Sullivan) who leads the group called "Ravagers," formerly led by Yondu (Michael Rooker). According to Comicbook, Taserface's group will be hired by Ayesha to go after the Guardians after some run-ins with some very important items belonging to Ayesha's people known as the Sovereign.
Bigger Role with More Power
Although Taserface is relatively unknown in the world of comic books, he's going to have a bigger spotlight in the upcoming film. According to Uproxx, director James Gunn decided to make Taserface very powerful although still "a real dumbass" which should mean he'll probably become the comic relief of the film (aside from Drax) who will have a grand time getting to the Guardians while spectacularly failing.
Taserface's role as the second villain of the film comes after Nebula (Karen Gillan) switch sides and becomes part of the elite group. Also along for the ride is Yondu and he'll bring along his whistle controlled arrow to deal deadly blows to the enemies.
