Park Bo Gum to star alongside Lee Byung Hun in upcoming film 'Ansi Fortress'?

"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" star Park Bo Gum and "The Magnificent Seven" actor Lee Byung Hun are in talks to star alongside each other in an upcoming film, titled "Ansi City: Fortress of Abandoned People."

Both actors' agencies have confirmed the news but pointed out that Park and Lee are in negotiations to star in the film and have already been offered a role in the project. However, the agencies noted that the actors are yet to decide whether or not they will say yes to the role, as cited by Soompi.

"Ansi City" is a historical film set during the Goguryeo Era and revolves around the battle of the Ansi City. Kim Kwang Sik will be directing the film while New production company will be in charge of financing and distribution of the project, according to All Kpop.

The new film has already created a lot of buzz because of two huge names associated with it. While Lee has starred in several films like "Inside Men" and "Master" as well as Hollywood flicks including, "G. I. Joe," "The Magnificent Seven" and "Terminator: Genesys." Park shot to popularity after featuring in the tvN drama "Reply 1988" and KBS series "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds."

Lee is currently busy with promotions of his latest movie, "Single Rider," and already has two films lined up this year - "Namhansanseong" and "My World Only." His decision to star in "Ansi City" will depend on how busy his schedule is.

Meanwhile, Park is rumored to star as the lead in an upcoming film, titled "Seobok." Last month, the actor's agency confirmed that Park had received the script for the film but has not yet made his decision about starring in the film.

The film, directed by Lee Yong Joo, is a modern-day adaptation of the legend of Xu Fu, also known as Seobok, who set off to find the elixir of life for his master Qin Shi Huang. Huang was the founder and first emperor of China's Qin Dynasty. Park had been tapped to play the role of Seobok, a cloned human with healing powers.
