The Orlando Magic and the Detroit Pistons are rumored that they are currently in discussion for a potential NBA trade. The rumored potential trade involves the Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson, who has been linked to several possible NBA trades in the past few months.

According to Detroit Free Press, Magic and Pistons are currently in discussion for an NBA trade last earlier this week. The news was posted via Twitter by Marc Stein of the ESPN.

It has been said that both teams are discussing the trade that would send Reggie Jackson to the Magic, while the Pistons could potentially acquire D.J. Augustin and Jeff Green. The news may be getting interesting until Stein of the ESPN quickly posted a new Twitter message stating the discussion phase is not yet clear.

The Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy said that their club was discussing with several teams with different players in their roster. Van Gundy added that it has been always the case since several teams want some of their players. With this case, the Pistons are receiving several calls from different teams around the league, but none of the have gone past to discussions.

As per the Detroit Bad Boys, the rumored NBA trade between the Orlando Magic and the Detroit Piston doesn't make any sense. D.J. Augustin is a good point-guard, but not close to Reggie Jackson, while Jeff Green is said to be a useless player with an expiring contract that the Pistons could definitely reject.

Reggie Jackson was previously involved with a rumored trade last month. Jackson was rumored to be sent to the Timberwolves in exchange for Ricky Rubio, that Stan Van Gundy quickly intercepted with a statement saying that they promised Reggie Jackson that he will not be dealt.

The Pistons had a very disappointing season this year, but still the team is trying to compete against several powerhouse teams across the league. Accepting the proposed trade with the Orlando Magic is a dumb move, it would not make them a better team compared to what they are as of the moment.
