‘2 Days & 1 Night’ Kim Joon Ho braved the cold weather to win team’s lunch

Members of the reality show "2 Days & 1 Night" courageously faced the cold weather to fight for their lunch meal. The reality-variety show airs every Sunday on KBS.

On Feb. 19, the second story of the members undertaking their "God still has 12 boats left!" race was aired. The challenged took place in Tongyoung, Gyeongsang Southern Province.

The members were split into two teams, with each team composing of three members. The first group was Kim Jong Min, Yoon Shi Yoon, and Jung Joon Young against the group of Kim Joon Ho, Cha Tae Hyun, and Defconn.

Members of each team are set to win a challenge which will decide who would get to eat lunch. Each of them were given five minutes to take off their clothes and line them up and the successful team with the longest line of clothes will be declared as winner, Naver TV reported.

They then immediately began taking off their clothes, utilizing everything they had from long jeans, shoes, up to their shoe insoles. Most of the members were down to their last piece of clothing when, Joon Ho shouted, "This is what a leader looks like!" and then quickly drew his underwear into the mix, as translated by Soompi.

However, despite the group leader's effort, his team lost the game and were unable to eat their lunch. "2 Days & 1 Night" is one of the two segments on "Happy Sunday" which airs at 4:50 PM KST once a week.

The shows episodes are also uploaded on YouTube through KBS' official channel. It has also gained much popularity and has garnered higher viewer ratings along with its other segment, "The Return of Superman," which helped revived and maintain "Happy Sunday" ratings.

Also, the shows main concept is to recommend various places of interest that viewers can visit in South Korea. It is said that filming for every new trip is usually done two weeks prior to its broadcast date on KBS.
