SBS eyes to cast Lee Sung Kyung in upcoming drama ‘Be Careful Of This Woman’By / 2017.02.18
Model-turned-actress Lee Sung Kyung has been considered to play the lead role in an upcoming drama, titled "Be Careful of this Woman." The news was even confirmed by YG Entertainment, stating that their artist has yet to make a decision about the proposal.
"Lee Sung Kyung has been approached to appear in the drama, and is currently reviewing the offer," the agency said as per Soompi.
"Be Careful of this Woman" is a romantic thriller series that revolves around the life of Eun Bong Hee, a Taekwondo player who will later discover her interest in legal matters.
On the other hand, SBS shared Lee Sung Kyung is one of the top candidates for the character. After playing her first lead role in "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo," the 26-year-old actress has been in demand for her acting and modeling prowess.
In fact, Lee Sung Kyung was casted to dub Poppy in animated film "Trolls." The model-turned-actress will be joined by Park Hyung Sik for the project.
Before the release of "Trolls" Korean version, the two actors even displayed their talent in dubbing. Not only that, Lee Sung Kyung and Park Hyung Sik impressed their fans with their own version of Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors."
During a live broadcast on Naver's V app, the "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" actress admitted she has similarities with Poppy from "Trolls" as cited by Korea Herald. Lee Sung Kyung even joked that Poppy and her have the same looks.
Prior to her selection for the Korean version of "Trolls," Lee Sung Kyung has never failed to surprise her fans with her hidden talents. Recently, she uploaded a video of herself singing "A Whole New World."
Her version of "Picture Show" from Broadway show "Bonnie & Clyde" has gone viral, proving how talented Lee Sung Kyung is. On top of that, the model-turned-actress also knows how to play the piano.
