‘Hwarang’ cast members to attend BTS’s Seoul concert to support co-actor Kim TaehyungBy / 2017.02.16
"Hwarang" cast members seemed to have shared a great bond while filming for the drama. In fact, their friendship goes beyond the four corners of the set as Do Ji Hon revealed their plan to support Taehyung in their upcoming concert.
Taehyung, also known as V of BTS, played as Hansung in the historical drama. However, his character died on the Feb. 14 episode of "Hwarang," breaking the hearts of his fans on Valentine's Day.
Despite leaving the drama ahead of others, Taehyung's co-actors in "Hwarang" are planning to attend the upcoming Seoul concert of BTS. In fact, Do Ji Hon talked about the matter in a recent interview.
When asked about his relationship with "Hwarang" co-actors, Do Ji Hon answered, "We are still very close. So this time, we're talking about who will be going to V's (Taehyung) concert together," Do Ji Hon said as per Koreaboo.
The actor went on, "It won't be easy for us to adjust our schedules to make room for the concert since everyone is busy, but because it's Taehyung's concert, we are all trying to make space."
Aside from their bonding moments on the set, "Hwarang" staff revealed the cast members often go out together during their free time. Meanwhile, the historical drama is scheduled to air its last two episodes on Feb. 20 and 21.
On the other hand, Taehyung and the rest of BTS will take the stage of Gocheok Sky Dome on Feb. 18 and 19 for "The Wings Tour." According to Allkpop, the seven-member boy group became the first band to sell out the said venue for two consecutive times.
In November, BTS performed a sold-out show at Gocheok Sky Dome as part of their "BTS 3rd Muster ARMY.ZIP+" concert. Their upcoming "The Wings Tour" sold out 40,000 concert tickets shortly after they were made available online.
