‘Yong Pal’ actor Joo Won sends treats to on-screen sister Park Hye Soo and ‘Introverted Boss’ staffBy / 2017.02.16
Joo Won is proving that his brotherly love for "Yong Pal" co-star Park Hye Soo remains the same even after the drama has ended. Hence, the actor sent over a snack cart on the set of "Introverted Boss" where the young actress currently stars.
Aside from sharing the small screen in "Yong Pal," Joo Won and Park Hye Soo are currently signed under the same agency, Huayi Brothers, as per Allkpop. A source affiliated with the label revealed the actress was surprised to receive the treats from his on-screen brother.
It added Park Hye Soo promised to repay Joo Won by performing better in "Introverted Boss" and other projects. In the ongoing tvN drama, the 22-year-old actress takes the female lead role as Chae Ro Woon.
Her character is described as an outgoing rookie employee who plans to take revenge against Yeon Woo Jin's character. The 16-episode "Introverted Boss" started airing on Jan. 16. The romance comedy airs every Monday and Tuesday at 11:00 pm.
On top of her lead role in "Introverted Boss," Park Hye Soo also joined the lineup of "Saimdang, Light's Diary" as the young Saimdang (Lee Young Ae). The actress with her on-screen partner Yang Se Jong were even commended for their acting in the historical drama.
A production staff commended the two young actors for their "promising performances" in the historical drama series. "Park Hye Soo and Yang Se Jong portrayed Saimdang and Lee Gyeom in a fresh and lovable way," it said as cited by Soompi.
"Saimdang, Light's Diary" follows the journey of an art history lecturer who will discover the life story of a renowned Joseon-era poet-artist. The highly-anticipated drama series marks the comeback of Lee Young Ae on television after 14 years.
