Celebrity couple Moon Hee Jun and Soyul finally tied the knot after dating for almost a year on Tuesday. But before the formal wedding ceremony, the pair held a press conference to share the special moment with the media and their fans.

According to Allkpop, Moon Hee Jun and Soyul's wedding was held at Shilla Hotel in Seoul, where a number of celebrities were in attendance. Contrary to their initial plan to hold a private ceremony, the couple decided to include their fans for the memorable moment.

Previously, Moon Hee Jun's agency reveal the celebrity couple started out as friends before they began dating in April 2016. The H.O.T member also admitted he proposed to Soyul a month after being in the relationship.

Their marriage announcement last November surprised not only their fans, but also their colleagues in the entertainment industry. However, amid preparation for the big day, Moon Hee Jun was mired in controversy for his remarks about his marriage with Soyul.

Reports stated Moon Hee Jun recently shared how he has been saving up for the wedding; however, some fans took offense of his statement and slammed the H.O.T member for seemingly treating them as "ATMs [Automated Teller Machines]."

Hence, Moon Hee Jun clarified the issue and apologized to his fans during their wedding press conference. The singer humbly acknowledged how the statement might have hurt his fans.

"I would like to say to my upset fans that regardless of whether or not something is true, I should have done better. I also want to say that I'm so sorry," he said as per Soompi.

The H.O.T. member said he will continue his career with a grateful heart towards his fans who have been his pillar of strength for the past 20 years.

Prior to his personal apology, Moon Hee Jun also posted a lengthy statement about the issue on his fan café. The singer said he is saddened that some of his fans are accusing him of treating them as cash machines.

He admitted being scared of the thought that fans may no longer believe in him because of the recent controversy. Despite that, most of the fans cheered him up and congratulated Moon Hee Jun for marrying Soyul.
