Bandai Namco releases more Gameplay Footages for ‘Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom’

As Bandai Namco closes in on the release of "Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom" the PlayStation 4 and PC role-playing game developed by Level-5, more gameplay footages have been released to whet our appetite for the game.

According to Gamespot, the latest gameplay video shows the protagonist Evan and his companions traversing through the magical and fantastic world of "Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom." Their destination is the King's Mound, in which they must trudge through lush fields and the rocky terrain of the mountains. In the video, they encounter monsters such as the bear-like Thogg which was termed as the "woolly bully of Cloudcoil Canyon."

Early reports from VG 24/7 on Jan. 26 made mention of the JRPG coming to the PC. The studio chief executive Akihiro Hino mentioned that this move would mean "the game is more accessible for everyone overseas."

"As a fan of Western RPGs, I think our games need to be offering a similarly great experience," said Hino. "Utilizing things like an open world, and a stress-free battle systems. It should feel familiar for all gamers."

"Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom" was sequel that was more geared towards the international audience instead of the fans back at home, according to the studio chief executive. He explained that "from a localization point of view "the team will be" really making it as straightforward as possible for players of all cultures to understand since the game will be aimed not just for the Japanese audiences but also Western audiences as well.

 "We really care about having a worldwide sensibility this time around," explained Hino.

Players would be following Evan and his friends to "build his own kingdom and unite the whole world" as "Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom" would be slated for release sometime this year.
