Lee Joon Gi is one lucky actor for having the sweetest and most thoughtful fans from all over the world. In fact, his supporters from various countries have come up with an idea to congratulate the Korean actor for reaching another milestone.

According to Allkpop, Lee Joon Gi's fans from 18 countries agreed to buy a full-page advertisement in "The Hollywood Reporter" magazine to express their love to the actor. Reports stated a Singaporean fan of the actor has thought of the idea, which was later agreed upon by other fans.

A member of Lee Joon Gi's fan club revealed they have been preparing for this advertisement of several months. It said the "THR" ad intended to congratulate the Korean actor for landing his role in "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter."

"We are so excited for Lee Joon Gi, but also want to let this ad be a shining moment for him," a fan said.

The full-page ad displayed a photo of Lee Joon Gi alongside fans' congratulatory message, "Congratulations on all your success thus far and we hope your first American movie role will take your career even further."

In "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," the 34-year-old Korean actor played the role of Commander Chu, sharing the big screen with American actors Millah Jovovich, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts and more.

Director Paul Anderson previously revealed he was convinced to cast Lee Joon Gi in the movie after he saw a YouTube video of the Korean actor. Soompi cited the director immediately offered the role to Lee Joon Gi, who initially refused to take the proposal.

Despite the rejection, the "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" director continued to woo Lee Joon Gi to take the offer. Anderson's effort did not go to waste as the Korean actor later agreed to play the role.
