"The 100" Season 4 might see the return of Clarke's girlfriend Lexa. Actress Marie Avgeropoulos recently revealed that at least one deceased character returns.
Avgeropoulos revealed in a recent interview that "The 100" Season 4 bring back a dead character through flashback scenes. These flashbacks will show the past and the lives of the people before the apocalypse.
The actress, who plays Octavia Blake, confirmed the return of at least one dead character in "The 100" Season 4. Of course, she did not reveal who this person is to avoid spoiling the show. Aside from the deceased character, Avgeropoulos said that there will also be other people included in the flashback.
"You're going to get to see a lot of the characters and how they interacted with one another," Avgeropoulos told TV Insider.
It remains a mystery who among the deceased major characters return in "The 100" Season 4. So far the show already killed three-Lexa, Pike and Lincoln. Lincoln died after Pike killed him and Octavia killed Pike because he murdered the love of her life.
However, the death that really affected viewers was Lexa's. Perhaps Avgeropoulos hinted to the character's return in "The 100" Season 4. After all, fans have since clamored for her return even in flashback scenes.
The premiere episode of "The 100" Season 4 already had a Lexa moment, when Clarke (Eliza Taylor) told her mother Abby how much she loved Lexa. Executive Producer Jason Rothenberg told TV Line that it was important for Clarke to mourn with her mother about Lexa, so fans would know their relationship was real.
Regardless, whether that would be the last Lexa moment fans will see in "The 100" Season 4 remains unknown. Rothenberg has since confirmed that the Commander is not coming back to the show. However, Avgeropoulos's confirmation that a deceased character returns to the series brings hope for Lexa fans that they would see her again.
