Netflix has finally released the official trailer for the upcoming series "Iron Fist."

The new trailer offers a good look at the basic premise of the show as well as a more detailed look at his superpowers. As shown in the trailer, "Iron Fist" is set at a time where Rand can already harness the power of the "Iron Fist."

Rand is seen walking barefoot in New York City as he tries to enter a building of a company that bears his name, Screen Rant reported. The scene cuts to plenty of martial arts-based fighting scenes with a glimpse of villains in criminal underworld masquerading themselves as leaders of respectable businesses in the big apple.

For the uninitiated, Danny is the son of a multi-billionaire Wendell Rand who as a youth, visited the mystic city of K'un-Lun that materializes in the Himalayas once a decade. Founded a million years ago by extraterrestrials, the city is ruled by powerful beings called Dragon Kings who are subject to sorcerer Master Khan.

When Danny was nine, his father decided to bring him and his mother to the mystical city accompanied by his father's business partner Harold Meachum. While traveling, his father accidentally fell from a mountain ledge, clutching the edge, he called Meachum for help but the latter let Wendell plunge to his death with the hopes of coming back to New York to control Rand's business shares.

Danny's mother Heather sacrificed her life to protect him from a wolf pack. Eventually, the denizens of K'un-Lun found Rand and took him in while Meachum spent the next decade preparing elaborate defenses against Danny's return, Den of Geek reported.

Danny Rand is played by "Game of Thrones" alum Finn Jones. She will be joined by Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum. Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple will also make an appearance in the series.

"Iron Fist" is slated to open on March 17, 2017. Watch the trailer below:
