Huawei's budget phone, Honor 6X is already rolling out their new operating system (OS) update, which is the Android 7.0 Nougat. Its official release date is not until March 31 of this year but a lot of their users are already using it.
Android Headline reported that Huawei first launched their Honor 6X back in January during the CES event in Las Vegas. The OS they used for that one was the Android Marshmallow and a lot of people were surprised about it. Eventually, Huawei announced that they will be updating to Nougat by the end of March.
However, before that said date, the company already have been sending updates to their Honor 6X users and even Huawei Nova Plus in Pakistan. The beta update for Honor 6X is expected to be the same as the update that they did with Honor 8 and their Mate 9.
Users could expect a new design on the interface of this particular smartphone. Some users usually complain about how hard it is to figure out the navigation of Huawei product and their flagship phones. Looks like that is about to change starting with this update.
Settings will be quicker to find since they won't be hidden anymore in layers that usually make the navigation hard. One could also customize their settings to however they like. GSM Arena also said that the battery life is longer since it will be using the 3430mAh battery.
This phone brags having a 5.5-inch 1080p screen with a Kirin 655 processor and 3GB of RAM, which could really make this phone work fast. People who love to store more files would enjoy that it has 32GB available for storage. The price is just $249, which is affordable for a smartphone.
The physical design is also aesthetically pleasing, especially the white metallic one. It gives the sophisticated and modern feel for its users.
