Chapter 90 of the popular manga series "Attack on Titan" is coming soon and recent leaks has given fans some excitement as the setting seems to push the manga to another direction. But aside from recent information on early releases, some major characters in the manga will have a bigger role for their survival soon.
Survey Corps Reaching the Ocean
The Reddit forum dedicated to the upcoming chapter of "Attack on Titan" recently discussed the leaks posted online. Various leaks offered different images and they all feature a change in setting in the manga.
The recent chapters in the manga focuses on Eren's recollection of his father's past. But the recent leak suggests that the Survey Corps are now in the ocean and enjoying the experience. If the leaks are true and it doesn't involve any time skip then they may have found a way to get out of the wall without any encounter with a titan.
Another leak involves Eren's interaction with Queen Historia. In the previous chapters, Eren noticed his connection with the Royal Family by simply touching them. He even became the Progenitor Titan because he touched the Queen. His interaction with the Queen will also reveal the Royal Family's past.
Armin's Role and Season 2 Release Date
Aside from the Survey Corps reaching the Ocean and Eren learning more about the Royal Family, Armin's past is about to be revealed. The anime interpretation of the manga puts emphasis of Armin's grandfather because he possesses a book deemed illegal. But they actually contain some very important information about the Titan's existence in the island and their past.
On the other hand, fans of the anime series should expect the series returning to small screen soon. According to My Anime List, the second season of "Attack on Titan" should premiere April 2017.
