The report indicated that Balfe was actually referring to her on-screen relationship with Heughan. She apparently wants Jamie and Claire to have a closer relationship in the next season. Fortunately, Balfe says the fans will see more surprising and steamy scenes between Claire and Jamie.
"There will be some other s** going on. I think to really let the reunion and everything that is going to happen once Jamie and Claire see each other, I think it is really special," she told Vanity Fair previously. "Maybe they will have to wait a little bit, but I don't think it's going to be as scarce as last season."
