Actress Kristen Stewart did not pass up on the opportunity to take a jab at US President Donald Trump when she hosted "Saturday Night Live" this weekend. The 26-year-old actress delivered an impassioned opening monologue against President Trump and how the latter was so invested in Stewart's very public breakup with "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson.

The "Come Swim" director, who was hosting "SNL" for the first time, recollected the time then-reality star Trump lambasted her on Twitter in 2012, Billboard reported. Stewart poked fun at how Trump back then got so invested with her relationship with Pattinson.

"We broke up, and we got back together, and for some reason, it made Donald Trump go insane. Here's what he tweeted: 'Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog and will do it again-just watch. He can do much better!'" Stewart said in her opening speech.

Stewart went on to reveal that Trump tweeted about her not just once, but a grand total of eleven times. Towards the end of her speech, Stewart accidentally dropped the F-bomb.

Meanwhile, Stewart has openly opposed the Trump presidency and has often spoken against the president's treatment of women. In an interview with Variety, Stewart agreed that there are a lot of young women who look up to her and are scared of the new president.

"Ladies, stand up for yourself!" Stewart preached when asked to give a message to other young women. She admitted she isn't the most politically charged person, but her reason for opposing Trump is more about moral and humanitarian reasons than it is about politics.

Stewart is currently dating Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell. She recently made her directorial debut in the film "Come Swim," which screened at the Sundance Film Festival.
